Orange Dream ^_^

Its been so rainy and gloomy here in Hong Kong lately so I decided to do a tropical summer vibe manicure...

I bought a couple new polishes for the other day when I helped my cousins do their nails... I didnt really take a lot of pics of the new "guest" manis but I do have a few pics that i'll put at the end of this post...

I started with 2 coats of a bright orange polish by Eleanor..they dont really have names but the item number i guess is ENP043...

this brand is formulated in France and it was a uber great buy... 2 polishes for 28 Hong Kong dollars... ( so 28 divided by about 8 will give you how much it costs in USD...so that means less then 4 bucks for 2!!!)

then I sliced some citrus slices to decorate...at first I was going to only use oranges but I felt that it would be too plain so I decided to use all the citrus fruits i got.. ;)

Then instead of placing a lot on each nail I decided to randomly placed one on my pointer, ring and pinky finger and make a bigger decoration on my middle finger...

Then on my thumb I was going to make it just like my middle finger but then it looked a little too over the top so I decided to alternate with some rhinestones...yay for sparkle-ness :)

Voila!~~ easy peasy  lemon squeezy~ haha :)

Now for some shots of what I did for my cousins this past week...

So this past weekend we had some watermarble-ing fun....I used the Eleanor polishes I bought from Sasa... (ill do a blog post about my hauls later) I only have pics of 2 manis I did and one of my other cousins didnt send me a picture yet... i'll update when she does...

This is the result of the watermarble mani for one of my cousins...

and then I used OPI- Planks A Lot with a random black color and Konad stamping for another one of my cousin's mani... its very Anna Sui i think :) hehe..... i did another watermarble mani too but like I said I'll post later :)Pin It

Fruity Goodness

Wow.....I am so so so so so glad that I was able to get my hands on the Wicked Sweet collection from Colorclub... I had to go to 2 different Ross stores to find it but boy am I glad I did..

I used 5 of the 7 colors from the Wicked Sweet Collection for this manicure and it smells soooooooo good!!! I can't believe how great it smells...I swear peopel think I'm crazy cuz I'm sniffing my nails >.< haha..

but I used Get Your Lem-On for my pinky, The Lime Starts Here for my ring finger, I always get my Man-darin for my middle finger, Yum Gum for my pointer, and Raspberry rush for my thumb... for the Pinky, ring and middle finger in the pic. above that was 2 coats and as you can see its very sheer... but I still like the formula overall... for my pointer and thumb 2 coats was all I used to get full opacity..

to get to full opacity I think I used 4 coats of polish for my pinky, ring, and middle finger...but I didn't mind b/c it smelt so good haha...

Then I chopped up some Fimo Fruit and I planned out what to put on which nails..

Since my fingers are small I only put 2 on my fingers with the exception of my thumb which I put 3.. I think this manicure would've been an EPIC fail if I didnt have my Seche... I work at a library so most of the times gemstones and fimo art get treated pretty badly but with a nice generous coat of SV i'm good to go ;)

just this morning before I rushed off to school I realized the watermelon fell off...eep!! and then the first thing I did when I got home was cut up another piece and use SV to secure it... must remember to be generous with the SV and make sure there's no jagged pieces to get caught... >.<

The wicked sweet collection in my opinion was a GREAT buy... even with a generous layer of SV over I can still smell the yumminess of the polish...and the scent isnt overbearing that I had to take it off...it's a nice subtle sweetness.. I adore that!!Pin It

Nfu-Oh...you're sooo purty...

Okie so needless to say when I bought my very first Nfu-Oh polish I was uber excited... so I finally tried out this gorgeous polish and I'm very pleased with the results♡..soo flaky!

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze- Meteor Shower..

You can tell from the pictures it does have a chunky kind of texture... but I'm loving the glitter in the formula so I forgive the chunkiness...

Then I put a coat of Nfu-Oh 50 on top...can you see the flaky goodness?? its drop dead gorgeous...The blue-ness of the China Glaze shimmers under the flaky goodness of the Nfu-oh and it gives off a greenish/blueish color depending what angle you look from

Then top finish it all off I put a layer of SV and a Fimo flower to make the mani pop...I'll try to take more pictures in different light sources... and later on I might even use China Glaze Matte magic to see what effect it gives me...but so far I'm totally loving this mani..

Spring Flowers

Ok with spring right around the corner today's manicure is colorful and girly

For the base colors I used- Sinful~Unicorn (thumb), OPI for Sephora~ A True Romantic (index finger), Sinful~ Innocent (middle), OPI for Sephora~ How Many Carats (Ring finger), and OPI for Sephora~ Havana Dreams... I totally forgot to get a clear(macro) picture of just the base colors without the stamping...*i remembered halfway unto the mani*...

i remembered halfway through...>.< I put on 2 coats of each color (3 for ring finger) to achieve full opacity...

 Then I usuing BM plate 12 I stamped the flowers onto my nails...

For my thumb I stamped with OPI- You Don't Know Jacques

My index finger I used Zoya- Blair to  stamp

Then my middle finger I used Revlon- Matte Suede Emerald City...and added a Fimo dragonfly ^_^

For my ring finger I stamped with Zoya- Kelly

 and then finally for my pinky I stamped with OPI- Russian Navy~Matte

Midnight Dots

Even though its Spring time I've been obsessed with China Glaze Millennium... I love the shininess contrasting the dark colors so today I did a Polka dot mani.

I didnt clean it up yet and I actually swiped some polish on my palm with my dotting tool so sorry for the messines ;)

First I started with 2 coats of  OPI Russian Navy- Matte

Then using the back of a random BM plate I put a dot of CG Millennium and I used my dotting tool to make different size dots onto my nails...then I also cut a slice of Fimo Nail Cane (Chanel logo) to place onto my ring finger nail (b/c there was a tiny part that was messed up and I wanted to cover it up hehe )

I DID NOT put top coat on this mani because I feel that SV actually dulls the shininess of the millennium and it kind of defeats the purpose of having a matte color...maybe if i decide to keep this manicure on a while then i'll put top coat on it.. but until then it's done after I clean up my cuticles :)Pin It
