Let's celebrate some BABIES :)

It's that time of year when Fall is arriving and there's change going on :) and boy oh boy what a wonderful time it is...two of my nail polish buddies just introduced lil bundles of joy to the world! One of my friends had a baby girl and another had a baby boy and today's post and mani is totally dedicated to em both!

I had mis-matched hands but it was in the same "theme"... Pink for the baby girl and blue for the baby boy :)

I used Polished by KPT Kelvin Bleu, Butter London Henley Regatta and Rosie Lee, Elevation Polish Limestone, Dance Legend 178, and Lynnderella Sapphir Starfire and Miss Crankypants Pink :)

The Dance legend is a thermal polish so you can really see the transition when I go from a cold place (Hot pink) to a warm place (pale pastel pink)

Kelvin Blue is also a thermal which goes from a dusty silver blue to a darker blue(cold) :)

Again Congratulations to both Mamas... can't wait till they spam us with loads of cute baby pictures ;)

♥ We love you Talia ♥

This past Tuesday the beauty blogging world lost a spark. Talia Joy Castellano, a true inspiration to many, left us. At the young age of 13, Talia Joy was not only a fantastic make-up guru but also a Cover girl. Check out her YouTube Channel and her Instagram here.

She was truly an inspirational figure. One of her last Instagram posts was of a mint mani and that's how Mint manis for Talia came to be.

This is my Mint Mani for Talia

I used Zoya's Neely, Lynnderella's Forget You Not, and Nothern Lights holographic top coat in silver...

If you would like to participate, please visit Nail Polish Wars for InLinkz codes and more information. She is also asking that people share their manis for Talia on her Facebook page, whether you have a blog or not. Please use hashtags  #mintmanisfortaliajoy and ‎#TaliasLegacy if sharing on social media sites.

MS awareness Mani and Saint Patrick Mani

This one is a doozy....its actually 2 manis in one post. This past week I did two very special manis. One was an orange mani for MS awareness and the other was a festive glittery mani for Saint Patricks day :)

I like them both :) lets start off with the orange mani..

When one of my friends on facebook talked about doing orange manis for MS awwareness I immediately agreed... also orange is the color for Kidney Cancer awareness so I felt that this was really meaningful.

For the orange I immediatley gravitated to OPI's Y'all Come Back Ya Hear? and it was perfect! Juicy jelly and gorgeously opaque-ish in 3 coats...for the accent fingers I chose Maya Cosmetics- Like A Boss which is a nude-y peach but has a subtle holo-ness to it..

I thought the orange was lacking a little something so I ended up topping it with Northern Lights Hologram Top Coat in both the silver and the gold... I love the subtle-ness of it but the glittery holo is still noticeable.

Then it was Saint Patrick's day and I totally wracked my brain for a suitable mani. I knew I wanted to do green obviously but I didn't want to go dark green...I wanted to go pastel :) So I used 2 coats of Zoya's Neely and then topped it with a layer of Lynnderella's She Lived in A Swamp. Then for the gold fingers I used Zoya's Ziv topped with Julep's Oscar and Vivien for more depth. I also used the same Nothern Lights top coat for the gold nails to give it some more oomph!

You can see the depth and some of the holo-ness of the gold :)

Some macros of the nails :) I love the complexity of the Lynnderella with the gold mix that I used..

Hope you liked these two manis as much as I did...oh and did you enter my giveaway yet? it ends in 12 days ;) Enter here
