Sparkly Cheetah Spots...

I've recently bought a Nubar that I really like...its the holographic polish named Jewel..

Then with this nice sparkly brown color I decided to do a cheetah inspired mani... (also I think its partially because my co-worker was wearing a cheetah print top to work the other day..haha)
Then I used my bundle monster plate to stamp the cheetah print onto my nails...

Then as an accent finger I put silver shatter on top of my index finger...it didn't shatter as nicely as I hoped but I think its still nice looking..

And then these shots were taken in the sun... i reaally like the sparkly-ness of this mani..

So Im going on a trip soon and I had to pack what polishes to bring...that was one of the hardest thing to do! *sigh* All I could bring was whatever polish that fit into this bag... >.< I cant even remember what stuff I stuffed in there... *sigh* hopefully when I go on my trip I can pick up some more polishes... and hopefully I can still post every couple of days...hope everyone is having a great summer so far!Pin It

You Crack Me Up ;)

Ok since finals are looming over my head its another quick and simple manicure today... I've been kind of lazy so the OPI shatter polishes and China Glaze Crackle polishes are what I've been reaching for to get a quick mani...
I used OPI shatters and China Glaze Crackle polishes for this mani..
I used one layer of China Glaze Millennium for all my fingers except my ring finger...I wanted to use silver shatter for my ring finger so I knew I was going to use a dark color for that nail...

I used Color Club's Ready to Royal for my ring finger (looks quite a bit like OPI- Lincoln Park after Dark i think....)

Here is what the two base colors looked like... *im soo in love with the China Glaze millennium <3 *

For my pinky I used China Glaze Crackle- Broken Hearted...

For my ring finger I used OPI's Silver Shatter...

I used the Red shatter from my Serena Glam Slam duo for my ring finger...

For my pointer finger I used the OPI black shatter...

and for my thumb I used China Glaze- Fault Line (sorry for the tip wear....I forgot to take a picture till later >.< sorry~~)

Voila!~Pin It

Serena Glam Slam Swatch

The other day my friend gave me this and at first I was soo surprised! I wasn't sure about the red shatter at first but then I tried it on and I was pleasantly surprised...
I was looking forward to trying Rally Pretty Pink but i was unsure of the red shatter...

This is one coat of Rally Pretty Pink...I loove the gold shimmer but the pink-ness doesnt really show...the gold really is the keynote in this color..

This is 2 coats...as you can see the gold is really strong...it gives off a bronze color and I like the gold sheen...but as some people have said it is really similar to Zoya's Faye..but I'll do a comparison later...

I was shocked by the red shatter...I'm normally not a fan of red polish but I like this shatter polish....I did diagonal swipes on my ring finger and horizontal stripes on my thumb...the rest of my nails I did vertical stripes... the Red shatter has a somewhat jelly like finish so the red looks darker..it has a matte finish so finish it with a top coat to give it shine...
The gold really cuts through the red and I think its really nice...what do you think?

OPI Pirates of Caribean Swatches ^_^

I totally loooooove this collection...I think this is the first time I've ever purchased almost the entire collection of polish... Out of the 7 introduced I purchased 6... the only one I didnt buy was Planks a Lot...

Here are all the colors I bought including my ALL-time FAV~ the Silver Shatter

First off we have Mermaid's Tears which is this really nice and creamy jade green color... I reached full opacity with 2 coats... the top picture is with tungsten white balance and the 2nd is custom white balance and its more to the 2nd pic's color...

Then we have Skull and Glossbones.... I'm a sucker for greige colors and this one does not disappoint..this is like a lighter shade of melted coffe ice cream...or khaki pants....once again full opcity with 2 coats...and 1st pic is tungsten white balance and 2nd pic is custom white balance...

next we have Steady as she rose... this may seem similar to the Skull and glossbones but dont let the second picture fool you...there is a distinct hue of pink in this color which makes it a great feminine color..with 2 coats you can still kinda see my nail line but I feel that it was opaque enough for me...

Next up we have a bolder milky pink creme color Sparrow me the drama... at first I was hesitant about this color but I've grown to like it...its a creamy pink and full opacity was reached in 2 coats... it was hard to capture the true color of this polish but i'd say its somewhere in the middle of the 2 pictures (tungsten wb in 1st and custom wb in 2nd)

and then we have stanger tides...this is my absolute fav. in the collection. its a milky green/greige color...I looooooove...it has that hint of green but its not too green..❤

and then....drumroll.....the Silver Shatter... oh my goodness....it is AMAZING! at first I was once again skeptical because I had a hard time working with Black shatter but this went on like a dream... it crackled perfectly and I love love love the results... I put if over Stranger tides and I like the subtle effect it gives off...from far away it seems like a silvery mani but when you look closer the greige/green color peeks through... love!!

Here I experimented with some other light colors...I'll probably experiment with darker colors next time..
 Over Stranger Tides..
 Over Zoya's Adina
 Over China Glaze- Peachy Keen
 Over China Glaze Re-fresh Mint

 Over China Glaze- Something Sweet..

looove the shatter....what do you think? ♡
