So a bunch of my friends on Facebook declared today May 19th to be Holo Day so here's my holo day mani ;] i had a hard time choosing which holo baby to use but I finally ended up choosing MakeUp store's Siw with ManGlaze's Cabron to jazz it up...
I was going to try do a holo gradient, but then I decided I wanted to do a tape mani instead since those are faster and require less clean up :)
So I started with a coat of Make Up Store's Aqua base coat, and then Siw ...then I taped with a striping tape and put on Manglaze's Cabron on the sections I wanted...
Simply cut a length of tape (you can use scotch tape too but I prefer using the striping tape because I can see what I'm doing more clearly) then tape the nail...then paint the sections that you want another color..then remove the tape...voila~ ;]
i really like the matte and the holo together...the drastic different textures look pretty neat...
For my "accent" nail...I simply painted the middle of the gap created by the tape instead of painting on the outside...
Hope you guys liked my holo mani ;]
