bigRuby tattoos ^_^

ok sooo sorry for the delay in posting...its finals week, I had a bad dentist appointment, there was a convention i went to, and i'm leaving for a trip in about 3 weeks... I have a lot on my plate so I dont know if i'll be able to post as much this may... anyway onto the mani! an easy mani this week because I had lots to do...

A couple of weeks ago I discovered this nifty little thing called bigRuby nail tattoos and I ordered 3 packs ($12. each) and they had a promo going on for orders 3 packs or more you get the skull & crossbones tattoos too... I bought the tweet, garden, and mod set... and I'll be using them later but for this mani I chose the tweet set because I liked the color of the bulldog in this one...the bulldog is in all the sets but in different colors...

here is a picture of the tweet pack which features birds/feathers ^_^ i reaally like these nail tattoos they are super easy to use and included in one pack are both mani sized tattoos and pedi sized tattoos... as you can see from the picture I chose to use the bigRuby mascot..their cute bulldog!

I started off with 2 coats of OPI- Skulls and Glossbones...

and then just like a regular tattoo..i cut out the doggy..then removed the clear plastic and placed it on my nail and wet the back of the paper...after pressing for 15-20 seconds I peeled away the paper and using my WET finger i smoothed out any wrinkly spots... add top coat to make sure the design stays and Voila~ instantly cute mani! all the cuteness without the mess of stamping...i love it!

and speaking of the convention I went to, it was a anime/manga convention so there were some people that dressed up...here are a few of my favorites...

It was waay hot that day... I was thinking these two guys must be sweating like CRAZZY under that costume!

This kid made me laugh out loud...he passed in front of my booth and the whole time he had to walk sideways... poor kid...

This captain jack sparrow was spot on! all that was missing was the drunken swagger but he was great!

same heat issue with these two guys...they were chilling out with the heads of their costumes off but when I asked nicely, they graciously put their heads back on for this photo op (that sounds funny..put their heads back on...ahah)

and last but not least my fav. Beauty and the Beast.... why is it my favorite you say? well......beauty is acutally a guy! betcha didnt see that coming... but he wore a different female costume all 3 days of the convention... *sigh* what dedication...
